“Ready or Not…here I come…you can’t hide…gonna find you and make you want me…” True.

Puffy was missin’ Big, and Mase had been around da world, and it all seemed larger than life. Naturally, since the Fugees were a hip hop group, this left a stigma in the mind of a suburban white boy that landed The Score on the shelf with Bad Boy Records.

Listening to them now, The Score was important, not discountable.

This album is stripped down, focused and has something to say. Can I relate? Probably not, but I can respect.

Ready or Not sounds like a Kanye West beat, recorded 8 years before College Dropout. Ahead of its time.

I’m only half way through this album and have decided…

The Score stays.
